Remedies for acne

Grated cucumber applied over the face, eyes, and neck for fifteen to twenty minutes is effective as it is the best tonic for one’s complexion. Its regular use prevents pimples and blackheads.
Medicinal properties of eggplant (brinjal)
Purple skinned eggplant or brinjal is full of phenols that help one’s body better use blood sugar. In addition to being effective on blood sugar, brinjal’s supercharged phenols may also inhibit an enzyme tied to high blood pressure. Moreover, the phenols have antioxidant actions.
Remedy for sore throat
The basil leaves (Tulasi) are beneficial in curing sore throat. Drink water boiled with Tulasi leaves. One may even gargle with that water to get relief.
A decoction made from tealeaves and mixed with a pinch of salt may also be used as a gargle to get relief from sore throat.
A gargle prepared from fenugreek seeds also gives relief.
